The MZ Parçaları website was founded by Yeşilırmak Motorlu Araçlar Ltd. Şti. Our company is among the most important players in the motorcycle spare parts industry. Out of a long-standing passion for MZ motorcycles, we dedicated a special place to them and launched mzparcalari.com — for you.
History of MZ Motorcycles:
In 1906, the foundation was laid when young Danish engineer Jörgen Skafte Rasmussen acquired an empty textile factory in Zschopau.
On April 13, 1907, the young engineer registered his newly founded company as "Rasmussen & Ernst" at the Zschopau city court. The company was to produce industrial, household, and automotive accessories.
In 1912, the factory was renamed "Zschopauer Maschinenfabrik J.S. Rasmussen".
In 1917, like other factories during World War I, it was compelled by the state to produce weapons. Alongside cartridge cases, they attempted to develop steam-powered automobiles. Though the company went bankrupt, the DKW brand ("Dampf Kraft Wagen" – steam-powered vehicle) was born.
In 1919, another milestone: to recover financially, the factory introduced a small two-stroke engine at the Leipzig Fair. DKW now stood for "Des Knaben Wunsch" ("The Boy’s Wish").
In 1920, they mounted a one-horsepower auxiliary engine onto a bicycle. DKW became known as "Das Kleine Wunder" ("The Little Miracle").
In 1921, they produced the Golem and Lomos—early prototypes of scooters. DKW’s first racing experience came in the 800 km Berlin–Heidelberg race organized by ADAC, where they claimed 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places.
In 1922, Zschopau began producing its first true motorcycle models. Following its first racing victory, it was named "Reichsfahrtmodell." 148 cc, two-stroke, 2.5 hp motorcycles entered the market. The company was renamed “Zschopauer Motorenwerke J. S. Rasmussen.”
In 1924, the DKW steel-framed SM motorcycle led production—50,000 units were manufactured.
In 1926, motorcycle manufacturers encountered assembly lines for the first time. The first two-stroke, twin-cylinder, 2.5 hp motorcycle was produced. Successes followed rapidly: victories in the German Road Championship and the German Grand Prix.
In 1927, a racing department was established. That same year, Rasmussen expanded into the automotive and refrigerator industries.
In 1928, the company acquired shares of other major firms and formed new partnerships. After purchasing all shares of Audi Werke AG, it became the world’s largest motorcycle manufacturer with 2,357 employees.
In 1956, the company adopted the name MZ and sold over 3,000,000 motorcycles by 1990.
In 1996, following German reunification, the company went public—but failed to generate sufficient investor interest.
In 2004, backed financially and technologically by Malaysian company Hong Leong Industries, MZ re-entered the market with renewed momentum.
In 2012, as Yeşilırmak Motor, we launched the MZ Parçaları website in Turkey to revive the nearly forgotten MZ name, acquired all rights to the MZ brand, and officially registered it.
In 2017, under Yeşilırmak MZ Motor, we began manufacturing original MZ spare parts. Today, the entire world uses Yeşilırmak MZ Motor original spare parts in MZ motorcycles.
I made an online order from the United States and everything arrived perfect, I am very happy, thank you very much, I will buy again without any doubt 👍
The order arrived in one day, only two items were a different color, but the return was processed without any issues. Be careful when choosing the color when ordering on the website. The packaging was very good, nothing was broken, thank you.
They are very nice shopkeepers. Their prices are quite reasonable too. They are also helpful with cash payments. What more could you ask for? May God bless your business.
The only shop I've come across in Istanbul that I give 5 stars to, their representatives are friendly and very good. Thank you.
They offer reasonable prices, a wide variety of products, and helpful staff. Because they don't have a retail location, they don't visually look like a motorcycle parts store; their sales are primarily online.
